Steam Trains HD v1.2, a collection of high res, beautiful steam locomotive images, to set as wallpapers or lock screen images for your iPad, is now available for download on the App Store. It features support for the New iPad with its retina display, and v1.2 brings locomotive information to the app as well, so you can read about the engines featured in it.

Steam Trains HD has just gone for approval. This iPad edition of Steam Trains contains over 70 images of steam locomotives in the UK. It also contains extra functionality not found in the iPhone version allowing you to see images under one of the original ‘big four’ company categories, LNER, LMS, GWR and Southern, and before the steam ban of the late 1960s, British Railways.
